According to data released by China's General Administration of Customs, the top 10 countries of China's copper export in 2020 were:
1. South Korea - $9.07 billion
2. Japan - $7.83 billion
3. Taiwan - $5.69 billion
4. Germany - $3.94 billion
5. Vietnam - $3.64 billion
6. United States - $2.96 billion
7. Malaysia - $2.62 billion
8. Thailand - $2.29 billion
9. Netherlands - $2.06 billion
10. India - $1.76 billion
The total amount of copper exported by China in 2020 was valued at $40.34 billion, a decrease of 4.3% compared to 2019. Despite the global economic recession caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, China's copper export remained relatively stable due to the rapidly growing demand for electronic products and infrastructure development projects worldwide.
